Soldier's remains found after MIA 67 years

FALLBROOK – Burt Risser, a long-time resident of Fallbrook, recently received the good news that his uncle, Claude “Bud” Ray, is coming home to Fallbrook after being missing in action (MIA) while serving in the Air Force in Papua New Guinea during World War II.

Risser was contacted by Lt. Col. Eric Wolf from Arlington, Va., requesting a meeting to inform the family of the news about his uncle. The Lt.
