The new Fallbrook library, currently under construction at South Mission Road and Alvarado Street, took on an element of real life today when workers began installing 500 panels featuring live plants on a portion of the roof. The new 20,000 square foot structure is the first of its type in the San Diego County library system to feature a truly "green" roof and as a result drew spectators and dignitaries for today's activity.
