FPUD removes battery-recycling bin

FALLBROOK – The battery-recycling bin that has been curbside at the Fallbrook Public Utility District office has been removed and batteries can no longer be left at the district office. Household batteries can now be recycled at Fallbrook Refuse Service, 550 Aviation Road. The bin will be donated to Camp Pendleton for the U.S. Marine Corps’ household battery recycling program.
