Motorcyclist injured in Hit and Run

Emergency crews were called on scene after a motorcyclist was downed after a collision on the 2000 block of E. Mission Road in the middle of the day on October 28.

According to the California Highway Patrol Eric Newbury, Ruben Alvarado, a 21-year-old from Menifee, was riding his 2006 Suzuki GSX600 going approximately 45 mph on East Mission Rd. when he ran into a 1999 Chevrolet S10 that was stopped on the roadway to make a left-hand turn.

Alvarado complained of pain to his entire left leg and his right arm, but suffered no severe injuries.
