FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Senior Citizen Center at 399 Heald Lane will offer multiple opportunities in the month of November to local residents.
Nov. 9 – Monthly meeting begins at 10 a.m., with coffee and refreshments available. Door prizes will be awarded. Guest speaker will be James S. Minor, Jr. of San Diego who will talk on the subject of Medicare and upcoming changes in the program. Bingo will begin at 12:30 p.m. Cards are a dollar each; prizes for winners and refreshments for all.
Nov. 11 – Medicare Advantage Supplement Workshop will be held 10 a.m. to noon. Four representatives will be on hand to discuss issues and answer questions. Foundation for Senior Care will also provide information on services they provide. Limited and changed enrollment period makes it imperative that every senior get all the information necessary to make up their minds. All seniors are urged to attend this important workshop. There is no fee.
Nov. 11 – Knit Wits group will meet at 10 a.m. to continue knitting projects for Marines at Camp Pendleton. All are welcome and donations of good yarn can be turned in at senior center office.
