Warrior girls keep close in cross-country league opener

Although Fallbrook High School’s girls varsity cross-country team did not defeat Vista during the Warriors’ first Avocado East League dual meet, Fallbrook held the Panthers to a 25-32 victory September 30 at the Fallbrook course.

“I couldn’t be more pleased with the way the girls ran. They did a fine job,” said Fallbrook head coach Troy Hamlin. “All in all it was a very successful day for us.”
