Canto della Luna fundraiser a big success

FALLBROOK - The gala Canto Della Luna (Song of the Moon) sponsored by The Hilltop Center for Spiritual Living held October 26 was a major triumph. The evening’s fundraising donations will go to support both Hilltop’s local family outreach programs as well as Fallbrook Organic Gardens (FOG). The evening drew over 120 attendees. Held at Café des Artistes, the festive event had food for mind, body and soul.

The event supported local artisans and service people dedicated to enhancing health and well being. The café was filled with silent auction items donated by local service people and artists. This special event featured unique and one of a kind art pieces from oil paintings, custom-made jewelry, hand carved wooden pieces of art to special nursery items. There was a feast of unique taste treats from local organic growers. And, the event also had a live auction offering special items such as a world-renowned time share resort vacation for a week, to a gourmet treat by Hilltop’s Sr. Minister, Rev. Guy Williams, who donated his gourmet catering abilities for a dinner for six.

The evening was topped off with a concert by Hilltop’s Spirit Hill, providing contemporary music for all ages inspiring dancing from the attendees.

It was such a success, that many who attended wanted to know when the event would happen again—and it’s planned for next year—date to be decided. The Hilltop Center can be reached at (760) 723-8291.
