Live Oak holds Fall Festival of fun

FALLBROOK – On Oct. 28, Live Oak Elementary School held its third annual Fall Festival. The event included games run by the teachers and staff, food and snacks from local restaurants, face painting and crazy hair, an enchanted storyteller, and a photo booth. As always, the sixth grade haunted house stole the show with its spooky, Halloween fun.

The event was capped off with the legendary “sliming” of the principal and sixth and fifth grade teachers. But the night was not finished until the raffle prizes and auction winners were announced. This year the auction baskets were the best ever including such items as Callaway golf clubs, spa and restaurant packages, Temecula Olive Oil, and much more. By all accounts, the event was a “screaming” success, raising much needed funds for field trips for every grade level at Live Oak Elementary.
