Senior Center audit reveals financial discrepancies

The Fallbrook Senior Center’s board of directors held a special meeting with its members November 24 to explain why it did not renew its contract with the center’s administrator, Irene Flores. Flores said she had been the center’s director for over 34 years.

“The Senior Center and I had a yearly contract, and the board simply decided not to renew it,” said Flores.

However, some of the Senior Center’s members interpreted that as Flores being unjustly released from her position.
