Animal Sanctuary needs supplies and volunteers

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary needs donations of cat and dog food, bedding and other pet supplies. To donate these items, residents can call sanctuary volunteer Deborah Stephens at (760) 630-1907 to arrange a drop off. She sits outside of local grocery stores to hand out information on spaying and neutering on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of each week. Items can be left with her and she will take them to the sanctuary. Borst Designs is no longer a drop off location.

Volunteers are also needed. Volunteer opportunities include baking cookies, helping out at adoptions, cleaning cages, grooming and loving the animals, presenting school education programs, and participating in senior foster programs. Anyone able to help out can call (760) 685-3533 or email
