Pendleton cracks down on fraud, waste and abuse

In order to steer individuals away from fraud, waste and abuse, the Headquarters Marine Corps Inspector General’s (CIG) office is taking measure to keep Camp Pendleton residents informed of its regulations.

Fraud, waste and abuse, such as theft, careless or needless expenditure of government funds, or misuse of government property increase the cost to the government and taxpayers and reduce resources available to support the operating forces.
