Corporal Eric M. Torbert Jr. killed in Afghanistan

SAN DIEGO (Wire Service) - The Pentagon released the name today of a 25-year-old Camp Pendleton-based Marine killed in combat in Afghanistan.

Cpl. Eric M. Torbert Jr. of Lancaster, Pa., died in Helmand Province on Saturday, Dec. 18 according to the Department of Defense.

Torbert was a member of the 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force.
