Road closures occur on Camp Pendleton

CAMP PENDLETON - Camp Pendleton is experiencing the following road closures as a result of flooding and other weather-related conditions on roadways:

* Vandegrift Blvd. is running with one lane in each direction in the vicinity of bell/Isadora Flats. It is subject to closure if water levels rise.

*San Onofre Beach access from Beach Club Road is closed. All beach access is being detoured from the state park entrance.

*Debris clearing will take place at the Stuart Mesa Bridge today from 4 to 4:30 p.m., 7 to 7:30 p.m., and 9 to 9:30 p.m.

Historically, potential flood areas on base include Vandegrift Blvd. between Stuart Mesa Road and the Marine Corps Air Station; Cristianitos road/gate; San Onofre Beach access road; Stuart Mesa Road between Edson Range and Las Pulgas; the Vandegrift Blvd. and Stuart Mesa Road intersection; and the Main Gate.
