Commuters can expect delays on area roadways this morning during their morning drive due to the heavy rain and wind conditions that exist in the greater Fallbrook area.
According to the latest information available from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) at 7:25 a.m., the following roadways are experiencing problems:
*Palomino Road is obstructed by a vehicle stuck in the roadway (first notice 6 a.m., second notice 9:30 a.m.)
*Camino Del Rey in Bonsall closed from Golf Club Drive to Eagle's Peak due to a large, fallen tree blocking the roadway (8 a.m.).
*State Route 76 at North River Road (7:23 a.m.) - A traffic hazard has been issuing and officers are on their way to the scene. SR 76 was closed for over an hour and a half during the morning commute due to problems in three segments of the roadway.
*Santa Margarita River flooding has blocked all access between Fallbrook and Deluz. Both Sandia Creek and Deluz Road are blocked.
*Pala Temecula Road has been closed near the Riverside County line (7:20 a.m.). The CHP has called for assistance from San Diego County roads division crews in clearing the roadway.
*State Route 76 at South Grade Road (7:11 a.m.) - A portion of the roadway has been closed in that area.
*State Route 76 at Couser Canyon (7:06 a.m.) - roadway is flooded and a vehicle is stalled in what officers say is "very deep water."
*Reche Road at Calmin Drive (7:-06 a.m.) - A traffic hazard has been issued for this area. The CHP has called San Diego County road division and asked for a crew to be dispatched to the scene for assistance in clearing the roadway.
