Thouvenell wins fifth go-round at National Finals Rodeo

Ethen Thouvenell won the fifth Steer Wrestling go-round at the National Finals Rodeo.

Thouvenell had a time of 3.7 seconds to win the Dec. 6 go-round. He had split the win in the Dec. 3 go-round with fellow Californian Luke Branquinho but won the fifth go-round outright.

"I'm having a great week. I did miss one, and that bummed me out a little bit and made me a little nervous. I've been able to come back, and hopefully I can keep doing what I'm doing," Thouvenell said.
