Quilt Guild speaker will focus on thread

FALLBROOK – Cindy Needham will be the featured presenter at the Jan. 6, 2011 meeting of the Fallbrook Quilt Guild. Needham is a well-recognized and talented quilter whose specialty is machine threadwork.

The business portion of the Guild’s meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Fallbrook Community Center, 341 Heald Lane. After a “show and tell” where members explain and display their creations, a social and refreshment time will take place. Needham will talk about her work and present some of her projects at 7:30. Guests are welcome, but a donation of $3 is requested to offset the cost of the program.

Needham will also present a workshop (fee) on Jan. 8.
