Springston, Metcalf earn Rotary blue badge status

FALLBROOK – Two new members of Rotary Club of Fallbrook, Jason Springston and Dotty Metcalf, had their red badges exchanged for blue badges, the sign of a regular Rotarian. Upon joining a Rotary Club new members are classified as “red badgers,” which means they have a list of requirements they must fulfill in a timely manner in order to become a regular full time member, or “blue badger.” Past president Tom Koehler performed the ceremony. Springston’s mentor Milt Black exchanged his badge and Dotty Metcalf’s sponsor Jack Rockwell exchanged her badge.
