Free Start Smart driver's class for teens offered Feb. 2

FALLBROOK – Officers with the California Highway Patrol (CHP) and San Diego Country Sheriff’s Department will team up to present a free driver safety program for new and future teenage drivers between the ages of 15 and 20 and their parents and guardians on Wed., Feb. 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Fallbrook Public Utility District, 990 E. Mission Road.

Officers will discuss traffic collision avoidance techniques, collision-causing factors, driver/parent responsibilities, and seatbelt usage. In addition, testimony will be given by officers who have investigated fatal collisions involving teens.
