Rainbow man arrested after Temecula Dairy Queen robbery

TEMECULA - Sheriff's deputies arrested a man suspected of robbing a Dairy Queen in Temecula and unsuccessfully trying to rob two other businesses within an hour, a sergeant said Tues., Nov. 8.

Troy David Blake, 49, of Rainbow, was booked on suspicion of armed robbery and attempted armed and jailed in Murrieta in lieu of $25,000 bail, Sgt. Kevin McDonald said.

Authorities did not say how they tracked down Blake, who was arrested about 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7.

The holdup at the Dairy Queen in the 31800 block of Temecula Parkway was reported at 11:34 a.m. Sunday. The suspect, who appeared to be holding a handgun in a jacket pocket, demanded cash, got some and fled in red vehicle, sheriff's deputies said.
