Pala Mission collects food and blankets for needy

PALA – The Pala Mission is trying to help many families in need during the Christmas season.

This year the need is even greater for food, blankets, and sleeping bags. Blankets or sleeping bags can be new or gently used and clean.

Donation of food including frozen chickens or turkey, rice, beans, dried potatoes, and any other staples are greatly appreciated. Those that would prefer to donate money for items like this to be purchased are welcome to do so.

Donations may be brought to Elsa in the Mission gift store Tues. through Sun. from noon to 4 p.m. For location, visit
