Angel Society distributes $20,000 to various causes

FALLBROOK - A total of $20,000 in donations to several worthy local causes was approved by the Angel Society of Fallbrook’s board of directors at its December meeting.
The Boys and Girls Club of North County was awarded $10,000 for its upcoming April 2012 signature fundraising event of the year. This donation will aid in the continuance of critical programs and activities serving over 1,100 children and their families.
Five thousand dollars ($5,000) was awarded to the Santa’s Toy Project which “adopts” families from Camp Pendleton YMCA. By October they had received 1,000 requests...
