Christ The King announces new associate pastor

FALLBROOK – On July 1, Christ The King Lutheran Church will welcome new Associate Pastor Kenneth Davis. Davis, an experienced, LCMC-certified Lutheran pastor, has a comprehensive and varied background.

Davis earned his Masters of Divinity degree at Yale Theological Seminary, and has served the Lord in both senior and associate pastoral roles. He is a gifted preacher and teacher, with zeal for the Lord, sound theology, a strong Biblical foundation, a heart for local and global outreach, a passion for discipleship, and proven experience in leadership, administration, pastoral care, and empowering God’s people for faithful living and ministry.

Pastor Davis’ devotion to the Lord was forged in a God-fearing home, where his Jamaican parents imparted their infectious love for Jesus to their five children. His Faith has since been tested and refined, as in 2009 he lost his wife of 13 years to cancer.

Since then, Davis has leaned on the Lord to provide for his needs as a single parent to three young daughters: Kennadi, 13, and twins Cassadi and Camryn, 9.

In July, he looks forward to marrying his fiancé Emily, and forming an expanded family with her two daughters, Brooke, 7, and Morgan, 5.

Pastor Davis said he enjoys time with his girls as well as tennis, golf, fitness training, reading, writing and traveling.
