A 45-year-old Fallbrook woman was arrested for violating San Diego County's social host ordinance when deputies responded to an out-of-control party on Sunday, August 12.
Deputies from the Fallbrook Sheriff's substation responded to a call in the 2100 block of Morro Road at approximately 11:23 p.m. that evening in regards to the loud party where a fight was reportedly occurring.
"There were several calls from concerned citizens reporting the loud party, including information that there were possibly 100-200 people at the party and possible underage drinking," said Sgt. Joe Montion.
"In investigating the noise complaint and fight, deputies observed 35 to 50 people in the back yard of the residence and a "beer pong" table set up with beer filled cups on the surface," explained Montion. "There were numerous full, half-full, and empty alcohol containers strewn about the yard."
Montion said deputies began contacting some of the partygoers as they were leaving the party. "Their investigation led them to contact several intoxicated minors ranging in age from 15 to 18 years old," he said.
Meanwhile, Deputy Zach Harris spoke with the owner of the home, 45-year-old Anastasia Doyle.
"Doyle stated she was hosting the party for her 18-year-old daughter and the party was only supposed to be attended by 20 to 30 people," said Montion.
Based on the investigation, Montion said Doyle was arrested for violating county ordinance 32.303 (a) SDCC - Preventing Minors from Consuming Alcoholic Beverages on Private Property (Social Host Ordinance).
"Doyle was cited and released at the scene and a crime report was taken at the same location for a battery on party-goer, 18-year-old, Brandon Renteria," said Montion. "Deputies detained and released juveniles to responsible parties and Doyle asked for help from deputies to end the party."
