Angel Society distributes over $11,000 in August

Lila Sandschulte, left, philanthropy chair of the Angel Society of Fallbrook presents a $4,000 donation to Donna Gebhart, trails council chair of the Fallbrook Land Conservancy, to maintain and repair parks, river trails and fire roads for the enjoyment and safety of the community and firefighters.

FALLBROOK – A total of $11,150 in donations to Fallbrook schools and other worthy local organizations was approved by the board of directors of the Angel Society of Fallbrook at its August meeting.

The Fallbrook Land Conservancy Trails Council was awarded $4,000 to help cover costs for supplies and rental equipment to work on park projects, repairs on the river trails and the parks. Fifteen miles of fire road were cleared for firefighters and firefighting equipment, helping to keep the trails as safe as possible for the community and the 20,000 people using these parks and trails.
