BONSALL – At the Small School District Association’s, Annual Conference in Sacramento on Thursday, April 11, Bonsall Union School District Superintendent Dr. Justin Cunningham was given the 2013 Charles Binderup Award for the Outstanding Superintendent of the Year.

“Being honored by this Association is particularly gratifying,” said Cunningham, “most school districts in California are small, and these superintendents require a deeper understanding of the complexities of a high performing district because they have few, if any personnel to delegate to. But as much of an honor as it is to receive such a prestigious award, I know that without the amazing Bonsall school community, and governing board, such distinguished recognition wouldn’t be possible.”
