Angel Society donates $10,500 to causes in May

FALLBROOK – A total of $10,500 in donations awarded to several worthy local causes was approved by the Angel Society of Fallbrook’s board of directors at its May 2013 meeting.

The sum of $5,000 was awarded to the Fallbrook Football Boosters, Inc. for a new press box at Warrior Stadium. The project to construct a new, permanent, modern press box has been in motion for four years.

Casa de Amparo was provided with $2,000 to continue to provide a safe and nurturing environment for abused, neglected and at-risk children and families.

Fallbrook Art in Public Places received $1,500 to provide a new piece of art for downtown Fallbrook.

The Fallbrook Village Association was gifted with $1,500 for the many community benefit projects and programs which they have initiated, managed and supported, including the monthly Fallbrook Community Forum. The cost for a professional writer and data base management is $1,500 per year.

The Fallbrook High boys basketball program received $500 for new equipment needed, including new basketballs.
