SAN DIEGO – Brandon Sarmiento of Fallbrook and Ciera Villegas of Bonsall graduated from the University of San Diego on May 28.
Sarmiento earned a bachelor's degree in marketing.
Villegas earned a bachelor's degree in environmental studies. She participated in the McNair Scholars program that prepares high achieving first-generation college students and students from underrepresented groups for master's and PhD programs. Villegas will begin a PhD program in Environmental Sciences at Oregon State University.
