Re: Gem and mineral museum is worth seeing [Village News letter, 8/10/17]

Thank you, Dennis Meredith, for letting everyone know about our wonderful free museum.

In 2016, we had over 2,500 visitors from 30 states and 11 foreign countries. Our reputation for minerals from San Diego County is respected world-wide, and our fluorescent mineral room is a thrill for everyone.

We are all volunteers and thoroughly enjoy sharing our love of rocks, minerals and fossils with our visitors. Students from the local elementary schools enjoy coming and learning about our rocks.

We are located in the heart of Fallbrook near the library and our hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
