Investigators seek help in case of stolen 'Greenman' statue

FALLBROOK – Investigators with the Fallbrook Sheriff's substation are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating whoever stole a statue worth $3,500 from the front yard of a home in Fallbrook.

The theft happened sometime between Sept. 6 and Sept. 29. The three-foot-tall hollow ceramic statue is known as "Greenman" and weighs between 30 to 40 pounds.

People with any information about the statue's whereabouts or who stole it are asked to call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
