Sheriff's Department seeks information regarding Fallbrook Equipment Rental burglary

FALLBROOK – According to a San Diego County Sheriff's Department Special Bulletin, three hooded male suspects forced entry into Fallbrook Equipment Rental (located at 235 W. College Street) at approximately 6 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 31.

The suspects took Stihl, MMD, Stanley, Hilti, Echo, and Husqvarna gas and electric saws, trimmers and power equipment. While the suspects were not recognizable, it is hoped that their use of apparently new BMW and Mercedes-Benz vehicles to haul off the merchandise may generate a lead.

The three adult males, possibly white or Hispanic, all wore sweat pants, hooded sweat shirts, and gloves.

The vehicle information is as follows:

Newer-looking silver Mercedes-Benz, 4-door with a sun roof and tinted windows. It transported two subjects.

Newer-looking black BMW 4-door with tinted windows and after-market black rims. It transported one suspect. The driver of the BMW poured a large quantity of gasoline inside the vehicle when he loaded a generator.

Anyone with information should contact San Diego Sheriff's Fallbrook Station at: (760) 451-3100.
