Boy Scouts hold successful food drive

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook community responded with overwhelming generosity to a Food Drive outside Albertson's grocery store conducted by Boy Scout Troop 731, chartered by St. Peter's Catholic Church.

On Jan. 7 and 8, in only eight hours, Boy Scout Troop 731 collected over 822 pounds of non-perishable food item donations. Everyone who donated was happy to buy food items for the Food Drive, and expressed much good will for those in need.

Boy Scout Troop 731 delivered all the food items to the Fallbrook Food Pantry, which has served low income and disadvantaged families in our community since 1991.
