Car ignites on Minnesota Street

A car parked between houses on the 600 block of Minnesota Street in Fallbrook caught fire Tuesday at approximately 3:35 p.m. Engines from North County Fire responded and quickly put out the burning vehicle as well as some vegetation that caught fire in front of the car. The fire was believed to have started when a tire on the parked car exploded. No homes were damaged.
