FRWF to discuss student success in college

FALLBROOK – In keeping with its mission statement goal “to educate women by communicating information, encouraging involvement and outreach in the community,” Fallbrook Republican Women Federated will feature guest speaker Ardeth Meier, owner of Advanced College Solutions, at its monthly meeting, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Friday, May 11. The group meets at Pala Mesa Resort, 2001 Old Hwy 395, in Fallbrook.

Meier will discuss the idea that “Success in College is More Than Academic.” The 2018 FRWF $1,000 scholarship recipient will be present to read her essay, “What the U.S. Constitution Means to Me.” Each year, FRWF sponsors a scholarship and supports the Student of the Month program.

The cost is $25 for brunch and program. Guests are welcome to attend, and they are encouraged to arrive early to check in. RSVP at [email protected].
