Tickets for Community Read are still on sale

FALLBROOK – Tickets for Fallbrook’s annual Community Read remain on sale through May 20. The Rev. Gregory Boyle will speak about his best-selling novel, “Barking to the Choir.”

The event will be held 6-9 p.m. Saturday, May 26, at the Fallbrook Library. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the author and enjoy an array of wine, soft drinks, desserts and other light bites, both inside and outside on the lighted patios.

Community Read is sponsored by the Friends of the Fallbrook Library. Tickets cost $35 per person and can be purchased online at http://www.fallbrooklibraryfriends.org or at the Bottom Shelf bookstore. Ticket sales have been brisk and the event is anticipated to sell out, so residents are encouraged to purchase tickets while they are still available.

There will be a book discussion of “Barking to the Choir” before the Community Read, 1-3 p.m., Thursday, May 24, in the library’s Community Room. Refreshments will be provided.
