Fallbrook Democratic Club meeting is June 7

Clean energy advocate Tyson Siegele will speak at the Fallbrook Democratic Club meeting, June 7.

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Democratic Club will hold its monthly meeting, June 7, at the Hilltop Center, 331 East Elder St. Social time begins 6:30 p.m., followed by the meeting, 7 p.m.

Speaker Tyson Siegele is a leading clean energy advocate from San Diego 350, a climate change action group. San Diego 350 strives to protect the environment from the adverse impacts of climate change and works to bring about public policy that supports renewable energy sources and protection of the planet.

Siegele will discuss the impact of climate change and local efforts to achieve 100 percent clean renewable energy usage in San Diego through solar and wind power.

There will also be discussion about the results of the primary election and strategies for preparation for the general election.

In addition to regular meetings on the first Thursday of each month, the club holds casual coffee meetings 8 a.m. on the third Wednesday of each month at the Fallbrook Coffee Company, 622 South Mission Road. Interested persons are welcome.
