Fallbrook Senior Center and VFW to host 4th annual Flag Day celebration

All ready for the Fallbrook Senior Center's fourth annual Flag Day celebration, June 10, are from left, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1924 Auxiliary President Anne Richter, Teen Miss Fallbrook Jayden Dominique, Miss Fallbrook Second Princess Roxana Esquivel, Teen First Princess Kathy Hernandez, Miss Fallbrook Samantha Burke, Teen Second Princess Sarah Hinely, Miss Fallbrook First Princess Morgan Davidson, event coordinator Phyllis Sweeney and Honorary Mayor Michelle Verdugo.

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Senior Center and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1924 and Auxiliary invite the community to join them, 2-4 p.m., Sunday, June 10, for the fourth annual Flag Day celebration at The Regency, 609 E. Elder St.

Food will be provided by Silvergate Retirement Residence. Entertainment will feature the Lively Line Dancers and the Fallbrook Ukulele Strummers group, and wine and beer will be available for purchase. Guests can dress in their festive patriotic outfits and let the red, white and blue shine. A prize will be awarded to the most patriotic apparel.

All proceeds from the opportunity drawing and the pie auction will benefit the Senior Center's "Home Delivered Meals for Homebound Seniors" and the VFW's "Veterans Relief Fund."
