Car club makes donation to Fallbrook Pop Warner

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club donated a $1,000 check to the Fallbrook Pop Warner Football and Cheer league May 23.

Michael McGuire, a representative of the Fallbrook Vintage Car Club, met with Fallbrook Pop Warner president pro temp Rolando Uresti to present the check to the league. McGuire arrived in his own vintage car, a 1970 Chevelle 454 SS Convertible.

"The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club is happy to be able to support Fallbrook Pop Warner's need to purchase the required defibrillator to keep the league compliant with safety protocols," said McGuire.

"Fallbrook Pop Warner couldn't be happier with the Fallbrook Vintage Car Club's support of our hometown league," said Uresti. "It is the generosity of local businesses and charities in our village that enables us to run the league for the youth of Fallbrook. It just wouldn't happen without donors like The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club and we deeply appreciate their help."
