FALLBROOK – Fallbrook is well represented in the Fine Art Exhibition at the San Diego County Fair in Del Mar. There were 1,800 works submitted, and 750 were juried in to be displayed. Among winners from the Fallbrook area who were recognized at the awards presentation, May 31, were Jack Ragland and his daughter,Natasha Ragland.
Jack Ragland won second place in "Acrylic Still Life" with a large painting entitled "Barcarolle." He had four works juried in and received a donated award from The Spanish Village Association for his painting called "Le Grande Hotel Paris."
Natasha Ragland's landscape painting "Sunflowers and Vineyard Hills" received an honorable mention. Their paintings can be viewed at the fair through July 4.
