Fallbrook Democratic Club meeting set for July 5

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Democratic Club will hold its monthly meeting, July 5, at the Hilltop Center, 331 East Elder St. in Fallbrook. Social time begins 6:30 p.m., and the meeting follows, 7 p.m. Matt Brower and Kate Schwartz will speak.

Brower is a candidate for superior court judge, and he will return to thank the Fallbrook Democratic Club for its early support. Brower is a Marine Corps veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan.

Schwartz is a candidate for a seat on the health district board and will speak about the Fallbrook Regional Health District board – what it does and some of the current issues.

There will also be discussion about strategies for preparation for the general election.

In addition to regular meetings on the first Thursday of each month, the club holds casual coffee meetings 8 a.m. on the third Wednesday of each month at the Fallbrook Coffee Company, 622 South Mission Road, in Fallbrook. Interested persons are welcome.
