FALLBROOK – This year, the Fallbrook Senior Center is partnering with Lido Favela of Ace Party Rentals in the race for honorary mayor. Thirty percent of the money Favela raises for the contest will go to the senior center for its Home-Delivered Meals Program.
The center delivers meals Monday through Friday to local homebound seniors. Between 295 and 300 ready-to-eat, healthy meals are taken to those seniors each week. The Fallbrook Senior Center is a local nonprofit group, serving seniors since 1974.
As a nonprofit, the center delivers meals to seniors on its homebound delivery schedule whether they can pay or not. So, donations are always needed to keep the program going.
