Chamber hosts charity golf tournament, Sept. 28

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce will host its annual charity golf tournament Friday, Sept. 28, at Pala Mesa Resort, 2001 Old Highway 395.

The fun starts midday, with check-ins beginning 11 a.m. and shotgun start, 1 p.m. Tournament play is followed by dinner with awards, silent auction and an opportunity drawing. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Fallbrook Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1924, a nonprofit organization which provides resources and services for local veterans.

Additionally, a putting contest will be coordinated by the Friends of the Fallbrook Library to benefit Jeremiah’s Ranch, another local nonprofit which provides support and services for people with developmental disabilities and their families.

Several sponsorships are being offered, including the opportunity to sponsor a Wounded Warrior to play. All are welcome to attend the dinner and awards banquet for only $40 per person.
