Senior center announces tour opportunities

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Senior Center is offering several tours in the upcoming months.

Sightseeing highlights for the Utah Canyon Royale motor coach trip begin at the Valley of Fire State Park in the Mojave Desert. They will also visit Zion National Park with its stunning scenery and Cedar Breaks National Monument, which has a half-mile deep amphitheater, in Utah. Day four includes a stop in Las Vegas, Nevada, with time for gambling, shopping, shows and fine dining.

The price includes a professional tour escort, three nights at the Casa Blanca Hotel Casino Resort, $20 meal coupon and luggage handling. The trips lasts four days and three nights, Sept. 24-27.

Next, fly to Nashville, Tennessee, “America’s Country Music Capital” and visit the Grand Ole Opry, the Country Music Hall of Fame, take a city tour of Nashville and see the Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline museums to name just a few of the many sites. The trip includes round trip airfare, transfers to the airport, deluxe motor coach and a professional tour director.

Guests will spend three nights at the Gaylord Opryland Resort, three nights at the Radisson Hotel. The seven day and six night trips includes six breakfasts, one lunch and four dinners, Oct. 12-18.

Honoring the historic contributions of African-Americans, the tour to Washington D.C. promises to be both moving and memorable. The trip price covers round-trip airfare to Washington D.C. and all airport transfers. Take a deluxe motor coach with a professional guide to see the Lincoln Memorial, Howard University, the Smithsonian museums, the White House Visitor Center and much more.

Guests will spend four nights at the Crystal City Marriott in Arlington, Virginia, enjoy four continental breakfasts and one dinner on this five day and four night tour, Nov. 1-5.

The final tour this year is to Catalina Island and the Queen Mary. Travel by motor coach to see the world famous Queen Mary ship and stay for one night onboard. After breakfast the following morning, guests will be transferred to Long Beach and board the Catalina Express to see beautiful Avalon. Catalina Island offers many scenic opportunities. Enjoy a stunning tour by bus along the beachfront with time to stop at the many unique cafes and quaint shops. Guest will spend two nights at the Pavilion Lodge. Luggage handling, one full breakfast, one dinner and two continental breakfasts are included. This trip lasts four days and three nights, Nov. 12-15.
