Chamber's charity golf tourney is Sept. 28

FALLBROOK – Golfers are encouraged to register now for the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce’s annual Charity Golf Tournament, which will be held Friday, Sept. 28, at Pala Mesa Resort.

The fun starts midday, with check-in at 11 a.m. and shotgun start at 1 p.m. Tournament play will be followed by a fabulous dinner with awards, silent auction and an opportunity drawing. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Fallbrook VFW Post 1924.

A putting contest will be coordinated by the Friends of the Fallbrook Library to benefit Jeremiah’s Ranch, a local nonprofit organization which provides support and services for people with developmental disabilities and their families.

Several sponsorships are being offered, including the opportunity to sponsor a Wounded Warrior to play. All are welcome to attend the dinner and awards banquet for only $40 per person.
