County seeks Fallbrook vacant land for hazardous waste collection

SAN DIEGO – San Diego County Solid Waste Division is seeking 5,000 square feet of vacant land in Fallbrook to use as a short term collection site for hazardous waste. It must have space for a trailer or two with good ingress and egress. Rent must be minimal.

The county plans to staff it with one or two people a month on a Saturday and move the waste off-site later in the week. At this time, the closest hazardous waste collection site to north county is in Ramona.
