Fallbrook Skatepark to present street jam Nov. 25

FALLBROOK – Fallbrook Skatepark Inc. is pleased to announce its inaugural Straight Outta Fallbrook Street Jam, a free community event featuring demonstrations by professional skaters and WCMX wheelchair skaters along with music, raffle prizes and sponsor giveaways.

The Straight Outta Fallbrook Street Jam will be held downtown Sunday, Nov. 25, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Library Plaza (the large parking lot located below the Fallbrook Library parking lot). There will be food trucks and a vendors section and – last but not least – an open skate and “best trick” competition for skaters of all ages.

Jason Jessee, Andy Roy and other pro skaters, as well as SoCal WCMX wheelchair skaters, will be in action for all to see. DJ Ian Cognito will provide the music.

Food selections will include Fatty Matty’s Pizza, Firehouse Que & Brew, and Dos Bandidos gourmet Mexican food. Raffle prizes include items by Recon, Lazy Daze, Spinergy, PowerFlex, Colours in Motion, ZFlex, FSI and more.

Skate Park Respect and San Diego Parks and Recreation will both have information booths on site. Find more information and competition participation forms and waivers at http://www.skatejam.fallbrookskateparkinc.org. Skaters under age 18 must have the forms signed by a parent or legal guardian.
