Firefighters quickly knock down vegetation blaze

North County Fire and Cal Fire San Diego quickly knocked down a vegetation fire in the 2000 block of East Mission Road in Fallbrook Tuesday, Nov. 13. No injuries were reported in the fire, which was first reported around 1:30 p.m.

The fire spread to over about a half-acre and caused minor damage to an outbuilding before firefighters halted the spread less than 40 minutes after the fire started.
