Re: 'Pro-Life is a killer'[Village News, Terrell Letter, 1/9/20]

This is my last rebuttal to this issue as it has become tired now and it's time to move on to more important issues like the Dog & Pony show over a fake impeachment proceeding.

1. While the CDC website is an interesting read on the subject it is not a good case for abortion.

Read for yourself. They also factor in SID babies who are born just fine, so the numbers are skewed.

2. & 3. I witnessed the interview with Margaret Sanger's son and believe what he states...why would he lie? So calling it false doesn't make it so. Eugenics is the science of improving a human population by controlled breeding. Abortion is one way of controlling breeding in minority areas where she chose to set up office. Sanger advocated for it along with other methods that are more human than murder of an innocent life. There are many contraception devices, so pick one of them and take responsibility for the action you engage in.

4. You are way off base on the emotional and mental problems abortion causes. As you say....89% had regret. Most times with regret comes guilt. A person will always justify their decisions even when guilt does set in.... it helps them get rid of the guilt. "It was the right decision to make."

You have to have a conscience about it in order to feel remorse or guilt. Not everyone demonstrates this characteristic. It is each woman's decision to make that moral judgement for themselves.

5. I didn't say abstinence wasn't currently being taught so let’s not twist my words. (re-read my letter). Why is saying no to premarital sex ridiculous? This is what I am talking about when you laugh at the thought of it even being mentioned in a sex education class.

Restraint is a valuable learned lesson. Parents should be talking to their children about lustful feelings and what happens with their hormones. Waiting to have sex when older and can understand the consequences of it should be taught, not just doing what feels good! We are not animals or barbarians even if abortion is barbaric in this day and age when there are other viable choices. Pick one!

Children under the age of 18 are having all kinds of sex when they should be getting an education that will set the stage for their life. Not wearing different colored bracelets to show what kind of sex they will perform on you.

Talk about cheapened life ... I just read an article about a teenager who murdered his cheerleader girlfriend who waited too late to have an abortion so he murdered her and his baby! I guess life is cheap.
