World War II paratrooper, 95, to jump with Army's Golden Knights

PERRIS (CNS) - A 95-year-old former U.S. Army paratrooper who fought in World War II will make what may be his final parachute jump tomorrow at the side of the Army's famed Golden Knights airborne team in Perris.
Vincent J. Speranza of Illinois is slated to make the tandem drop with the Knights between 10 a.m. and noon in the skies over Perris Valley Airport.
``It will be a great pleasure to jump again with the finest parachutists in the world,'' Speranza said.
