'Schitt's Creek' tops streaming ratings for third time in four weeks

HOLLYWOOD (CNS) - "Schitt's Creek'' returned to the top of the streaming ratings among the four services measured after a one-week absence in the latest weekly report from Nielsen released today.

Viewers watched 1.058 billion minutes of the 80 episodes of the Emmy-winning comedy between Oct. 19-25 for its third first-place finish in four weeks. It finished second the previous week.

``The Office'' was second, with viewers watching 869 million minutes of the 2005-13 NBC comedy. ``The Haunting of Bly Manor'' was third, with 838 million minutes watched, a week after the nine-episode Netflix horror series was first, with 1.821 billion minutes watched.

Viewers watched 570 million minutes of ``Borat Subsequent Moviefilm'' on Amazon Prime in its first three days of streaming, placing it eighth for the week. The film was the lone entry in the top 10 not on Netflix.

The only other programming in the latest top 10 not to appear in the previous week's was the 2020 reboot of the mystery documentary series ``Unsolved Mysteries,'' fourth for the week with 789 million minutes watched of 12 episodes and ``The Queen's Gambit'' 10th, with 551 million minutes watched of the seven-episode miniseries about the quest of a chess prodigy (Anya Taylor-Joy) to become the world's greatest player while struggling with emotional problems and drug and alcohol dependency.

The top 10 programs were ``Schitt's Creek''; ``The Office''; ``The Haunting of Bly Manor''; ``Unsolved Mysteries''; ``The Great British Baking Show''; ``Grey's Anatomy''; ``The 100''; ``Borat Subsequent Moviefilm''; ``Criminal Minds''; and ``The Queen's Gambit.''
