If you missed San Diego Rep's streaming of maestro Hershey Felder's "From Paris with Love" performance as Claude Debussy, you lost the opportunity of a lifetime to hear his homage to his mother as he shared her desire to visit the city of her dreams, Paris.

It was informative and heart-tugging at the same time. For instance, once you understand that Gershwin returned from Paris with two suitcases of Debussy's music and then listen to his "Clair de Lune" followed by Gershwin's "American in Paris," you too will feel their connection.

A splendid performance even though it languished a bit in the middle. Felder is a musical master. Rated 10 out of 10.

With a looming deadline, I couldn't include San Diego Repertory Theatre and Diversionary Theatre in this column. Instead, visit their websites, https://www.sdrep.org/ and https://www.diversionary.org/.
